| Visit by 20 Citroen Traction cars from France 19th July | ||

 Registered Member #350 Joined: Thu Nov 12 2009, 11:08PMPosts: 12 | Dear All, there will be a visit by 18 tractions ,a 2CV and a GSA from France/Europe on the 19th July, we the central Region are planning a run on the 20th Tues to Port Dickson for them. They are staying at Concorde KL, Jln S. Ismail. We plan to leave KL at 3pm , arrive PD 4 past and drive around PD before going to Yacht club for dinner and return to KL by 9-10pm. Anyone interested in joining please do so by calling Michael Sundram/Noorul or me at 016-2216644, FYI tues is a working day Itenary after that on wed, they do their own thing shopping/sightseeing etc. Thurs mrng they leave for Cameron Highlands for 2 days, Sat mrng leave for Penang stopover at Kellie's Castle Batu Gajah At Penang they stay at a homestay at Teluk Bahang. Mon mrng early they leave for Thailand where they will travel for 3 weeks up to Bangkok and ship the cars back to France from there. I will be with them all the way up to Penang, anyone interested in joining are welcome too. These cars have been to many other places in Africa and eastern europe, Canada and they plan trips every few years to new destinations. The Traction Avants are the worlds 1st Frt Wheel Drive cars and came out in 1934 until mid 1950's when the DS replaced it. Here are pics of the cars being shipped.
